The Republicans (fr: Les Républicains) is a French liberal-conservative party, rooted in Gaullism. Formed in 2015 from the Union for a Popular Movement (UMP), it faces challenges from other parties like the National Rally and Renaissance. LR remains influential despite recent electoral setbacks, led by Éric Ciotti. It is affiliated with the Centrist Democrat International and the European People's Party.
