The Tokyo Metro is a major rapid transit system in Tokyo, Japan, managed by Tokyo Metro Co. With over 6.84 million daily passengers, it's the city's primary subway network, alongside the Toei Subway. Tokyo Metro Co. is jointly owned by the Government of Japan and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
