THE COMPANY
Between 1938 and 2011, the American manufacturer Ford Motor Company produced Mercury, a brand of mid-priced automobiles. The first model year was 1939. It functioned as its own line within Ford until 1945, after which it became half of Ford's Lincoln-Mercury Division.
