SC Gaz Nord Est is the licensed natural gas distribution and supply operator for Hârlău, Cotnari, Cucuteni, and Balș in Iași County. Authorized by the National Energy Regulatory Authority in Bucharest, the company also designs and executes natural gas distribution systems and installations. Established in July 2002, its shareholders include local councils of Hârlău, Cucuteni, Cotnari, and Balș, along with E.ON Gaz Romania, Prisma Serv Company SRL, and Incom SA.
