THE COMPANY
Credito Valtellinese (Creval) was an Italian bank headquartered in Sondrio, Lombardy, founded in 1908. Initially a cooperative bank, it transitioned into a joint-stock company, offering retail and corporate banking services, including insurance and brokerage. In 2021, Creval was acquired by Crédit Agricole Italia, leading to its delisting from the Italian Stock Exchange. This acquisition transformed its operations, customer accounts, and financial services, integrating Creval into Crédit Agricole's Italian banking network.
