Established in 1995 and commencing play in 1998, they compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member of the National League (NL) West Division. Chase Field serves as their home stadium. Notably, they clinched the World Series in 2001, defeating the New York Yankees, thereby becoming the youngest team in MLB history to achieve this milestone.
